Chicken recipe :Baked Chicken Recipe whole

Baked Chicken Recipe whole
ingredients
1 whole chicken 4-5 pounds of organic
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons dried thyme
1 medium onion
Sea salt to taste
1 cup water
1 Rinse chicken with cold water
2 Brush the entire chicken skin with vegetable oil.
3 Sprinkle with thyme and sea salt over the chicken on all sides. Insert the whole onion in the center of the chicken.
4 Place in a roasting pan or baking pan, uncovered. Add water to bottom of pan (this is to ensure that the oven remains moist during cooking and the chicken remains tender and juicy).
5 Bake at 350F (180C) for about 1:30, or until the center of the chicken reaches 185F degrees.
6 When cooked, remove chicken from pan, cover and let stand 5 to 10 minutes.
7 Meanwhile, make the sauce with the chicken juices and fat in the bottom of the pan: put the pan on the stove to stove, bring to boil the liquid by adding a thickener component (eg Bisto or cornstarch , etc..) diluted in a little cold or white wine, then mix the juice of chicken. Boil to desired consistency. Add salt and pepper as needed.
8 Cut the chicken and pour the sauce.
