Baked Chicken with herbs on a bed of potatoes

ingredients
1 chicken (about 1 kg)
7 cloves of garlic
2 large onions
900 g of potatoes
Thyme and rosemary (powdered or better branches)
Salt and pepper
Olive oil
preparation
1 Preheat the oven thermostat 6 / 7 for at least 10 minutes and prepare the chicken during this time.
2 Take a baking dish.
Peel the garlic cloves and remove the seeds.
Peel the potatoes and dice.
Peel the onions and remove the seeds.
Coarsely chop the onion (in 4).
Arrange chicken in dish.
3 Brush chicken with olive oil around with a kitchen brush (or fingers if you do not).
Sprinkle chicken with thyme and rosemary (or put branches above)
salt and pepper.
4 Put the potatoes, whole garlic cloves and onions around the chicken.
Add 5 tablespoons of olive oil over chicken and vegetables. Toss vegetables to coat with olive oil harmoniously.
5 Bake the dish in the oven for 2 hours to cook.
Halfway through cooking: Return the chicken and vegetables, leaving the vegetables found (not under the chicken).
